Gabriel Peralta

Hiya I'm Gabriel! I am a Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Auckland, specialising in marketing and information systems.

In high school, I achieved an Excellence endorsement in Statistics at both Levels 2 and 3. I was honoured to receive the Robert Ned Covich Scholarship, awarded to students heading to university who excel academically and actively contribute to the Catholic character of their school.

Being a Catholic Character Leader has deeply influenced my values and approach to life. It has instilled in me a strong sense of compassion, patience, and integrity, which I bring into my tutoring. I believe in seeing the potential in every student and fostering a nurturing environment where they feel supported and confident. In addition to my academic achievements, I was a basketball coach and a peer support leader, roles that taught me the importance of mentorship and community. These experiences, combined with my Catholic values, have shaped me into a tutor who is not just focused on results but also on the holistic growth of my students.

Recently, I started Taekwondo, which has been a humbling journey, reminding me of the challenges of learning something new. This experience enhances my empathy as a tutor, as I understand the patience and persistence needed to overcome learning curves and celebrate progress.

Outside of academics, I’m passionate about fitness, content creation, and inspiring others through personal growth, guided by faith and perseverance.
