Yuna Park

Kia ora! My name is Yuna and I am a student at the University of Auckland. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Sciences specialising in Medicinal Chemistry. I also studied the Bachelor of Medical Imaging (Honours) as well for a year before switching over to my current degree. I was fortunate enough to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma in high school, and the experience and knowledge I gained from it has helped me a lot through my university studies. In the IB Diploma, I received a 6 in both HL Chemistry and Biology. As someone who had tutoring in high school, I understand what it feels like to be a student and strive to help my students to the best of my abilities. I was also fortunate enough to take on the role as secretary for the Medical Imaging Students’ Association at the University of Auckland for 2026.

I try my best to cater to the students’ needs in my lessons, and to create a safe environment so that the student feels comfortable with their learning and asking questions when they are unsure about anything. Since everyone learns differently, I believe that it is my job to ensure that the way I teach is what the student finds the most helpful to them.
